Webster University's Jason Hickson achieved a historical rarity by winning the Hanover (IN) Invitational. Hickson was first across the finish line in a field of 61 runners for the Gorloks who placed fifth in the team scoring.
Webster University made its season debut by finishing fourth at the Washington (Mo.) Early Bird Invitational. Senior Jason Hickson placed fifth out of 95 runners competing on the 6,000-meter course.
