Grabbed her first state championship by winning the Class 5 200 in 24.51 seconds. Took second place in the 100 (11.79). Finished seventh at state in the 400 (57.16).

Her high jump of 5 feet, 7 inches, at the Madison County Meet on April 25 was the best in the area this spring. Finished third in the high jump at the Class 3A state meet by going over 5-5.

Unleashed the area s top 100 hurdles time of 14.21 at the Class 2A Springfield Regional. Took fourth in the 300s (45.9) and fifth in the 100s (14.91) at the state meet.

In her first season jumping, Riley proved to be a natural. Went 39 feet, 6.5 inches, on her last attempt to win the Class 5 triple jump state championship. Earned all-state honors with eighth-place finish in the long jump (17-5).
