(Kansas City, Mo.) Sophomore Blake Hocking and freshman Bryce Miller each broke a school record for the Kansas City track and field team in this weekend's events with Hocking taking down the school record in the shot put at Missouri Southern's Bill Williams/Bob Laptad Invitational in Joplin, Mo., and Miller snapping the mark in the 3,000 meter steeple chase at the Drake Relays in Des Moines, Iowa.
