Hannibal, Mo. - Saige Caldwell, daughter of Roger and Diane Caldwell, of Bitburg, Germany has signed on to run for the Lady Trojans for the 2017-2018 season.  Caldwell attends Bitburg American High School where she competes on the Cross Country team.  Her high school coach, Coach Allen stated, "Saige's hard work and dedication to the team is a large contributing factor to Bitburg's qualifying for the European Championships."

In her first year of participation in the sport (2015) Caldwell helped her team to place second in their divison.  This year as a senior, she raced on October 3rd and came in eighth place.  She attends Trinity Baptist Church and would like to major in accounting and business at Hannibal-LaGrange.  

"I couldn't be happier to have Saige as part of our progam.  She embodies everything that we look for here as a student athlete at Hannibal-LaGrange University.  She will be a fine addition to our women's cross country and track programs," added Coach Andy Lemons.
